- A minimum of two years of full-time work experience

7. How many years work experience is required to successfully apply for the MyBondMBA.com
program?
You should have at least two years of work experience before transferring to the MBA program (five years for non-degree holders). This is important so that you have an understanding of the problems, issues and techniques that are being discussed, and are able to apply the theory you learn in a way that is practical and beneficial. Hence many of your assignments and examination questions will require you to relate the subject content to your own experiences at work. Moreover, the ability of Bond MBA's to share aspects of their personal business experience with one another is an extremely important aspect of the Bond MBA. This is why we are so keen to have you communicate with other students (and staff) through discussions and group work.

10. If I fail to score at least 230 in my TOEFL exam, may I still apply for the
MyBondMBA.com program?
We strongly suggest that all students know their current level of English before applying to this program. Even though about 40% of your subjects
are in Japanese, you will still need to have suitable levels of English language for the very first subject. However, the program is specifically designed for people who do not speak English as their first language. Therefore, you do not strictly require a TOEFL score of 570 (CBT 230), writing TWE 5 like most MBA programs when you start the program. However, you will need to pass TOEFL or IELTS before you
attend your first Study Tour. You will also need to be able to communicate confidently in English with classmates, Teaching Assistants and Professors.
If you have any doubts about your English levels contact the Program Adviser at
Bond University at adviser@mybondmba.com
to discuss your situation.

11. If my English levels are not at the right standard, what can I do to improve them and how long will this take?
This depends on your current level and your learning ability. Bond University has its own English Language Institute (BUELI), where you can study subjects
like English for Business. We also recommend a number of language schools in Japan that will help you to prepare for university-level English study. If you wish to
receive more information, please contact Business Breakthrough.
